NVIDIA has revealed that its digital human technologies are being employed by AI application developers across various sectors. These technologies, including NVIDIA ACE, NVIDIA NeMo, and NVIDIA RTX, enable the creation of lifelike avatars for commercial applications and dynamic game characters. The suite of digital human technologies encompasses language, speech, animation, and graphics, all of which are AI-powered. This enhances the realism and engagement of conversations.
The company has partnered with leading developers such as Hippocratic AI, Inworld AI, and UneeQ to showcase the new capabilities of its digital human technologies. These technologies are being adopted across healthcare, gaming, financial services, media & entertainment, and retail industries. NVIDIA ACE, designed to bring game characters to life, is being evaluated by game publishers worldwide. Developers have the option to incorporate the full suite of digital human technologies or individual microservices into their products.
In a significant development, NVIDIA Corp. has partnered with Hippocratic AI to introduce AI nurses that charge $9 per hour. This is a significant reduction from the average $90 per hour fee for human nurses. This initiative is part of NVIDIA’s broader exploration into humanoid robots. The company is using human data to train the robots for tasks such as overseeing other robots in the manufacturing process. NVIDIA has also launched Project GROOT, a general-purpose foundation model for humanoid robots, aimed at advancing their work in robots and embodied AI.
